How does it feel to be the winner of the 8th ASEAN Bartender Championships?
I feel so happy and proud. I hoped that I’d win this award and thinks it is a great achievement.

Why do you think you won?
At first, I didn’t think I would win the competition because there are so many great bartenders who enter this event who are all amazing at what they do. However, I worked so hard for the competition, practicing my skills and developing new cocktails, so I think my determination led me to be the winner.

When did you start working for Party House One and what made you decide to work there?
I started working at Party House One in September 2009. I decided to work here because I knew that it was a great bar and that the staff is very kind and determined to offer great service. I also knew that I would have the freedom to showcase my flair bartending skills whenever I wanted, which some bars don’t allow.

What sets Party House One apart from other bars in Bangkok?
Well we’re not just a bar, we’re also a restaurant. We have an ‘every day is a party’ concept so whatever day you visit you’ll find a high energy atmosphere and you’re bound to have a great time.

Best night you’ve had behind the bar?
Every day’s a party, so every night’s a great night!

What’s the best night of the week to visit?
Friday’s the best night because, without the prospect of work the next day, our guests can really let their hair down and enjoy as many cocktails as they want without feeling guilty.
