When did you first join Mellow and what made you decide to work
there?
I started working at Mellow just over a
year ago. I decided to work here because the bar offers something different,
both in looks and drinks.
What’s the best thing about being a bartender?
Apart from learning and creating new
drinks, I truly enjoy meeting new people, talking with them, and hearing their
stories. I meet people from all walks of life and some of them have great tales
to tell.
What sets Mellow apart from other bars in Bangkok?
The bar’s minimalist design blends western and Asian elements and has a relaxed New York style vibe. Alongside our vast selection of Western cocktails we even have a long list of Japanese drinks. And, of course, great service always comes as standard.
What’s the best joke you’ve heard while working behind the bar?
Well one customer once told me to try and
do my job without going anywhere near alcohol. Probably not the best joke, but
it made me laugh.

What’s the most interesting gossip you’ve heard while working behind the bar?
Oh, trust me there’s a lot. But as a
bartender I can’t talk about it – that’s the bartender code.
Can you tell us an interesting fact about Mellow that most people
don’t know?
All our major shareholders are from
Boston, USA.
What nights/days are best to visit and why?
Well we have happy hours every Sun – Thur
from 5pm – 8pm when drinks are two-for-one, but really every night is a great
night to visit! Come and enjoy a few cocktails and I’m sure you’ll have a great
time.
