The purpose of Bangkok Gin Festival is to celebrate Gin Culture in Thailand and to raise awareness for female bartenders working in the industry. Therefore, together with 4 leading gin brands, we are inviting 4 rising stars - female bartenders in Asia to showcase their crafts at 4 cocktails bar in soi Nana which includes Teens of Thailand, Tep Bar, Bahao and Asia Today Bar on the 9th November, 8 pm onwards. Leila Lee presented by Roku Gin @ Teens of ThailandLeila is an experienced bartender who has worked at some of the best bars in Taipei, currently working at Placebo as the main bartender. Inspired by her Taiwanese root, Leila experiments tea, along with all sorts of Asian herbs and spices within her mixology. You can also find her visiting local farmers in search of new fresh ingredients for her next cocktail creation. Leila will be making Roku gin cocktails at Teens of Thailand on the 9th November 2019 from 8 pm onwards. |
Grace Tsai presented by Star of Bombay Gin @ Asia Today Bar Grace is the head bartender of Taipei's most prolific cocktail bar, Indulge Bistro. Working alongside one of Taiwan's legendary bartenders, Aki Wang, who gave her so much experience that couldn't be matched. In 2017, Grace competed in her first cocktail competition in Bacardi Legacy, and she came out as a regional Champion. And to finish in Global top 3 is not an easy task to accomplish as a first timer. Grace always mix her cocktail with a strong-dedicated passion served with a charming smile, a true Taiwanese bartender. June Baek presented by Caorunn Gin @ Tep Bar June is the senior bartender of Madame Fan Bar at JW Marriott Hotel South Beach, shaking tipples from the newly launched cocktail program at the highly anticipated establishment. The spunky Korean native has spent the last 3 years immersing herself in the bartending and exploring international environments as living in across Korea, Australia, the USA and now, Singapore. In her short time here, June has won the Chivas Masters Singapore Finals 2019 (Global top3), been a top8 in La Maison Cointreau Singapore 2018 and top 10 in Campari Bartender Competition 2018 in Singapore. June also stays strongly passionate about offering the warmest hospitality to her guests from all walks of life - by crafting cocktails for each unique individual alongside her charming antics behind the bar. June will be making Caorunn gin cocktails at Tep Bar on the 9th November 2019 from 8 pm onwards. |
Audrey Gustilo presented by Hendrick’s Gin @ Bahao Audrey is currently a bartender at OTO, but she began her international career with Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach, Dubai. Following a stint at Four Seasons, she returned home to Manila with OTO, one of Manila's top cocktail bars. Today, Audrey goes between working in OTO and doing freelance bartending for different liquor brands and events. Audrey is set to find a voice in the young and bustling cocktail industry of Manila as she experiments with both traditional and modern techniques. Audrey will be making Hendrick’s gin cocktails at Bahao on the 9th November 2019 from 8 pm onwards. |
