Kick off with Chinese New Year, one of the most important festivals of the year with hard-too-resist Chinese-inspired eats. To celebrate the Year of the Pig, DEAN & DELUCA’s culinary team has rolled out a selection of succulent pork dishes. BBQ Chinese Pork & Mandarin Orange Salad (285 THB), a healthy salad featuring juicy BBQ pork collar, mixed green salad, Japanese cucumber, Mandarin orange, mushroom, poached egg, pickled ginger, almond slice, sesame and spring onion. The dish is then drizzled with homemade Chinese chili dressing; giving a dash of exotic flair. For something more filling, try Bacon & Cheese Turnip Pancake (265 THB), a semi breakfast dish that faultlessly combines Western flavors with Eastern touches. Savory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese and poached egg are creatively paired with Eastern ingredients such as turnip, mandarin orange, peanut, spring onion to name a few, and served alongside homemade Chinese maple syrup.
For a bread lover, opt for Sichuan Pork Bun (225 THB). The menu combines fluffy sugar bun together with succulent pork collar and caramelized red onion jam with ingredients such as garlic and Chinese rice wine. Balance the slightly sweet flavor with DEAN & DELUCA’s signature coleslaw and pickled cucumber. Mala Sichuan Pork Ribs (485 THB), a hearty dish ideal for sharing boasts tender flavorsome Sichuan pork ribs with punches of spiciness and just right sweetness.
