THAI street food has become famous the world over for its unique flavours and blends of herbs and spices.
Taking all of Thailand’s best dishes and serving them high up above the heat and crowds in an elegant and refined environment, is the newly opened Bangkok Heightz. Located on the 39th floor of The Continent Hotel, Bangkok, Bangkok Heightz combines the best of Thai cuisine with elegant sky high dining. Think traditional street eats and drinks with a twist; authentic recipes in a refined setting with panoramic city views to boot. Signature dishes
Serving Thai favourites from across all four regions, Bangkok Heightz offers something for all palates. We recommend:
Num Prik Noom (B160) – Northern Thai green chilli dip served with crispy pork scratchings, sliced carrots, cucumbers, okra, and aubergines; Phad Thai – wok-fried rice noodles with tofu, egg, bean sprouts, green onions and ground peanuts with a choice of chicken (B290), prawn (B310), mixed seafood (B350), or tofu (B180); and Mussaman Ka Khae (B650) – lamb shanks with vegetables in a creamy peanut curry sauce.
As for drinks, try the Must Thai Mule (B320) – house gin infused with chilli, lime juice, and fresh Pimento ginger; the Sukhumvit (B320) – house vodka, Khan Thong house rum, Aperol, pandan syrup, jasmine syrup, strawberry juice, lime juice, and an egg white; and the Mai Ya Rap (B320) – Thai whisky, Cointreau, lime juice, lychee juice, kaffir lime leaves, and kaffir lime zest.
This high end rooftop restuarant and bar offers panoramic views of the Bangkok skyline. With warm woods and modern finishings, plus top-notch food and drinks, Bangkok Heightz provides a trendy and cool new place to hangout above the crowds; and with a DJ booth pumping out the latest tunes, Bangkok Heightz also serves an after dinner venue.
