Introducing the crispy duck salad (B400) which became quite a legend with many guests at La Tavola. The dish comprises of crispy duck served with organic greens carefully sourced from the Royal Project, orange fillets and aromatic sesame dressing.
Next was the highly recommended Carpaccio Affumicato (B450), the flavourful house smoked wild boar tenderloin served with garlic aioli, honey balsamic and fennel. Followed by Dal forno delle Pizza (B450), delicious Prosciutto e Provola topped with tomato, Mozzarella, cotto ham and smoked cheese.
Then came Intermezzo Papata di Cozze (B400). This menu is rich in flavour with Tasmanian black mussels braised in Chardonnay served with young roots, tomato and herbs. Then there was La Maccelleria Galletto alla Diavola (B650), a plate of crisp and juicy young rooster spring chicken (600g) served with rosemary potato, broccolini in beer sauce.
To end the perfect meal was the Una dolce Conclusione Panna Cotta Modenese (B300), aromatic balsamic panna cotta served with sweet and sour mixed berries.
An elegant restaurant situated in the city centre offering an air of sophistication with plenty of warmth and friendliness from the staff.
