THIS stunning, 25th-floor restaurant in Bangkok offers diners a spectacular view of the capital while they enjoy some of the best cuisine in town. The interior features its massive namesake: a 24-metre long dining table. The restaurant does not focus on the view or food alone but also gives guests a unique dining experience with creative dishes from Thai-inspired menus to indulge in.
The Chef recommends menu is a four-course meal delivered family-style with plenty of plates for sharing. The first course consists of smoked salmon rolls wrapped in cream cheese and topped with black Tobiko and wasabi sauce. Next up are the freshly fried tiger prawns served with Thai-style green apple sauce. After the main course, diners can choose between the seared snow fish served with roasted bell peppers and topped with spicy tomato and saffron sauce or the perfectly grilled, juicy wagyu beef flank steak served with baked potato, bacon, and mixed vegetables.
The Chef recommends course also comes with fried and crispy bananas topped with almond slices and chocolate sauce and served with panna cotta and mixed berries for dessert.
Other noteworthy dishes include pineapple fried rice, Chinese sausages with barbecued tiger prawns, fried chicken wings stuffed with pork, and prawns topped with sweet, Thai-style chilli sauce. Diners can end the feast on a sweet note with Long Table’s banana crepe with mascarpone cream smothered with tamarind and caramel sauce.
The comfortable establishment is enhanced with modern art and décor. Aside from the 24-metre long table, the restaurant is also equipped with both indoor and outdoor seating making for a more intimate setting. The outside terrace overlooking the city is the perfect spot for both dinner and drinks.
