The fashion show of NICHA highly impressed the fashionista, designed by Nicha Thanalongkorn, smart Creative Director of NICHA has recently presented A/W 2018 collection, ‘Dark Wonder’ which represents the inspiration from the beautiful living of nocturnal animals transmitted to modern design outfit with signature silhouette and pattern lines, to reveal the charm of confident ladies who love prominent design at ELLE FASHION WEEK 2018.

The MRG-G2000HA uses traditional colourings inspired by the aesthetic quality of murasaki-gane (deep violet metal) and suaka copper material used in Japanese craft traditions. Murasaki-gane is a metal alloy including gold, which adds to both its value and rarity, achieving a deep violet hue. This colouring on the watch case and band gives the watch a bold, regal look. The deep colours are realized by the new application of the leading-edge AIP® (Arc Ion Plating) coating technology employed in the surface treatment. Boasting a hardness rivalling that of DLC (diamond-like carbon), AIP® is used in such robustly resilient machinery as jet engines. The final touch is a more laborious and expensive finishing method, for the ultimate high abrasion-resistance. 

Moreover, to stay true to the traditional Japanese craftsmanship, all processes involved in the making of all MRG-G2000HA watches are under strict supervision from Mr. Asano Biho, a third-generation master artisan of the tsuiki technique, whose accomplishments include restoring Important Cultural Properties of Japan. He also supervised and helped to perform the manual application of a technique called arashi-tsuchime, used for every single watch. 

In terms of functionality, the MRG-G2000HA features the Connected Engine 3-Way module, which pairs with a smartphone to automatically update the watch’s internal data, including the time, daylight savings time (DST), and changes in time zones. In addition, the MRG-G2000HA is also equipped with radio-powered GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor and Tough Solar charging system, which converts not only sunlight but also light from fluorescent lamps and other sources into power.

For the ultimate strength and beauty, the MRG-G2000HA is encased in sapphire crystal with a non-reflective coating. The watch also has an LED super illuminator light, with water resistance of up to 200-meter. The band is made from titanium for maximum durability, with a combined watch weight of only 152 grams. Thus, the MRG-G2000HA is a watch that encapsulate Japanese artisan’s technique integrated with the most innovative technology to achieve the ultimate in strength and beauty. 

Another highlight model is the MTG-B1000, from the MTG (Metal Twisted G-SHOCK) premium series that is a mixture between steel and resin. While constantly going bigger and bigger in recent years, this year the new MTG-B1000 comes with a smaller and slimmer exterior that houses a Triple G Resist structure, built to withstand three kinds of gravitational acceleration: external shocks, centrifugal gravity and vibrations. The MTG-B1000 has a sapphire crystal and metal parts that are polished to a hairline finish, with Super Illuminator LED light, world clock, timer and CASIO's signature solar-charging system.

​In addition, the MTG-B1000 is equipped with the new Connected Engine that offers even more precision. Robustly protected by a new, highly shock-resistant structure, this watch is the first MT-G to offer Smartphone Link with Bluetooth® connectivity, as well as a Multiband 6 radio-controlled for the ultimate timekeeping in any situation.
