ViMUT Holding, a subsidiary of Pruksa Holding providing healthcare services, has partnered with Namwiwat Medical Corporation, a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of medical tools and equipment for cleaning and disinfecting, to establish a joint venture worth 50 million baht. Leveraging their combined expertise, the new venture will provide cleaning and disinfecting services for medical equipment, and the treatment of medical infectious waste. ViMUT Holding will hold a 40% stake, while Namwiwat will hold 60%. The joint venture aims to strengthen the ecosystem of the ViMUT Group and elevate medical safety standards.

Dr. Pichit Kangwolkij, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer, Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited and Acting Chief Executive Officer, ViMUT Hospital Company Limited, said, "As a trusted healthcare platform, the ViMUT Group seamlessly provides a wide range of health services. These include ViMUT Hospital, ViMUT-Theptarin Hospital, Ban Mhor ViMUT Clinic, a rehabilitation center, nursing home services, physical therapy services, and telemedicine, utilizing digital health technology to integrate various services. To enhance operational standards and deliver the best patient care, the ViMUT Group seeks partners with expertise and potential to strengthen our platform for patient benefit and drive ecosystem growth. Namwiwat Medical Corporation is a leader in medical innovation and a force behind Thailand’s healthcare industry, with 53 years of experience in sterile medical supplies. The company is an ideal partner for us and we believe this collaboration will elevate service standards and improve patient safety."
"In addition to providing care and accurate diagnoses, another mission of the ViMUT Group is to focus on patient safety. This standard must be maintained and continuously developed. Therefore, we continue to seek potential joint venture partners. We are honored to collaborate with Namwiwat in providing a sterile processing service with a team of experts equipped with modern, standard-compliant tools. We also have plans to improve the space within ViMUT Hospital to support the operations of the sterile services department. This helps to shorten the working time of the hospital's support department and increase advanced safety for patients. Additionally, we offer a medical waste sterilization service that meets standards and converts waste into renewable energy. These materials can be processed into other products, benefiting patients, hospitals, and the environment. This aligns with the ViMUT Group's sustainability policies."
"New operations under the new joint venture will be provided in all medical facilities of the ViMUT Group. Services have already commenced at ViMUT Hospital and are currently being expanded across the network. Upon successful internal operations, the company plans to extend services to private sector and government customers," concluded Dr. Pichit.
