Intriguing, abstract representations of the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui’s Gallery of Eight will feature at an upcoming art exhibition by Viktoria Vorotina, also known as ‘VV’.
The invitation-only event will take place from 6.30 – 8.30 pm on January 22, 2022, and will be supported by Bitkub Blockchain Technology, the developer behind Bitkub Chain and Bitkub NFT store. The NFT store, called Gallery of Eight @ Hyatt Regency Koh Samui, is offering 40 NFT Airdrops to guests who register during the event.
In addition, 12 NFT Airdrops will be offered weekly to in-house guests on a first-come, first-served basis until April 14, 2022.
The artist, Viktoria Vorotina, hails from Kiev, Ukraine, but has lived on Koh Samui since 2018 and takes her inspiration from the island’s beautiful scenery. Her bamboo, alfresco studio provides the ideal setting for the creation of her artworks.

Explaining her technique, VV says “Using meditative body movements, I transfer my energy from deep meditative states into large canvases. My creations start with visualizing color and pure light to enliven spaces, part of my mission to enhance the potential of every artistic expression.”
“My themes are cosmic spaces, soul-making and soulmates, reaching the deep sources of creation and connection with the beauty of Mother Earth nature. Through my transformative art, I seek to liberate and heal the body and mind. No limits.”
Her revelatory artworks are produced using an astounding variety of media, including acrylic, enamel, charcoal, gemstones and gold leaf. The abstract images are typically rendered on large canvases and mounted on handmade, unique, custom-designed frames.
VV’s personalized bespoke art has become hugely popular among interior designers and private collectors for luxury homes and upscale venues around the world, and her work can be seen gracing the homes of art connoisseurs from Italy to Japan.
For the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui exhibition, VV has created striking portrayals of the resort’s Gallery of Eight, which includes the lobby, the reservoir, the waterfall, the tree marker, the fishnet and SESUN, the colors of the valley, the wellness courtyard and the organic garden.
“The Gallery of Eight is a fantastic interactive experience for guests; each of the eight photogenic spots dotted around the resort is inspired by Samui’s idyllic lifestyle and the island’s unique landmarks. Guests can now find them, feel them and record their special memories for the future.” said Adrian Pulido, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Koh Samui.
‘The Lobby Triptych’, consisting of three huge canvases, manages to capture the brightness of the lobby, created by numerous skylights that allow the area to be naturally illuminated by the sun and moon. The surging flow of water creates an attractive abstract of the waterfall, while the artist’s depiction of the organic garden is a riot of color, reflecting the bounty of nature that encompasses the resort.
Along with the Lobby Triptych, paintings of the reservoir, the waterfall and the colors of the valley will be available for purchase at the NFT store bitkubnft.com, while the original paintings of the other four will be on sale at the resort.
The exhibition is scheduled to run for three months, after which the resort plans to host further exhibitions by other renowned artists.
