The grand opening of “One Piece Pop-up Cafe in Thailand”, Thailand’s first full-scale exhibition and themed café dedicated to the globally beloved anime, was met with enthusiastic response from fans. The event took place at Attraction Hall, 6th Floor of ICONSIAM, and was attended by Mr. Krit Sakulpanich, Chief Executive Officer of DEX (Dream Express) Co., Ltd.; Mrs. Suma Wongphan, First Executive Vice President, Division Head - Marketing, ICONSIAM Company Limited; Mr. Alston Lee, Head of Licensing (SEA), Toei Animation Enterprises Ltd.; and popular Thai actor Gee Sutthirak Subvijitra. The opening ceremony on 12 March 2026 was filled with excitement as large numbers of One Piece fans gathered to experience the immersive world of the Straw Hat Pirates.
This landmark event is the result of a collaboration between DEX, Thailand’s leading importer and distributor of animation content and licensing; Toei Animation Enterprises, the global rights holder of the iconic anime series; and ICONSIAM, the world-class landmark destination along the Chao Phraya River. Together, they have transformed over 600 square meters into a 360-degree ONE PIECE universe, bringing to life the story of adventure, friendship, and dreams of the Straw Hat crew. The exhibition features meticulously designed zones and multiple photo spots, catering not only to dedicated One Piece fans but also to modern content creators seeking memorable experiences to share on social media.

The “One Piece Pop-up Cafe in Thailand” exhibition marks a significant milestone for Thai fans, offering a new immersive experience through a large-scale exhibition space designed with meticulous attention to detail. Featuring a raised floor structure that enhances the grandeur of the display and numerous photo opportunities, the exhibition feels as though the world of One Piece has been transported to the heart of Bangkok.

● The Wall of Legends & Member Gallery – featuring the complete Straw Hat crew’s bounty posters with updated billion-berry bounties, alongside large-scale artwork showcasing character development over more than 25 years.
● Egghead Island Adventure Zone – making its debut in Thailand, recreating the futuristic “Island of the Future” in a striking neon-pastel sci-fi theme, where visitors can take photos with the latest character standees including Monkey D. Luffy in his SSG outfit and Jinbe in a special look.
● Wano Country Check-in Zone – inspired by samurai culture, featuring scenes of Onigashima Castle and Mount Fuji, reflecting the courage and honor of warriors.
● A spectacular 5-meter-tall Luffy Gear 5 landmark, serving as the ultimate photo spot that transports visitors into the world of One Piece and the adventures of the Straw Hat Pirates.
