Bangkok, Thailand – ICONSIAM, the global riverside landmark on the Chao Phraya River and a flagship creative destination of Siam Piwat Group, joins Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and an extensive network of partners to present a series of immersive creative experiences as part of Bangkok Design Week 2026.

Under the overarching theme “DESIGN S/O/S: Secure Domestic / Outreach Opportunities / Sustainable Future,” ICONSIAM reinforces its position as a Global Experiential Destination, harnessing the power of creativity to unite design, art, culture, community engagement, and sustainability. The initiative brings to life the rich identity of the historic riverside Khlong San district, translating its layered cultural narratives into accessible, inclusive, and inspiring creative experiences for all audiences.

This collaboration reflects the long-standing strength of Siam Piwat Group as a Creative Powerhouse, pioneering the integration of art, creativity, and culture into retail and public spaces—the first of its kind in Thailand—and continuously advancing its vision to establish one of the world’s most distinguished art and cultural destinations.
Exploring Cultural Stories Through Design, Art, and Community at ICONSIAM

ICONSIAM invites the public to discover diverse exhibitions and activities across its entire precinct, including:

Khlong San Experience – Lost & Found: Get Lost to Be Found

Developed through a collaboration between Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and ICONSIAM, this project introduces the Khlong San Cultural Wayfinding System, which compiles key historical data, notable figures, significant locations, and cultural narratives of the district into a pedestrian-friendly and intuitive format.

Presented as an exhibition that encourages urban exploration from a fresh perspective, the project redefines the notion of “getting lost” as a purposeful and enriching journey. Through storytelling signages, community voices, and thoughtfully designed walking routes, visitors are invited to listen, learn, and gradually step out into the real Khlong San neighborhood.

The exhibition reflects on Khlong San’s past as a vital riverside trading hub—once home to warehouses, rice mills, and multicultural communities—shaping a district with a distinct identity that continues to evolve today. Visitors can collect a cultural passport and stamps at key locations along the route at Walkway, Level M, transforming exploration into an interactive and memorable experience.

IDA × EPDA Winners Exhibition
This exhibition showcases winning works from the International Design Awards (IDA) and European Product Design Award (EPDA) 2025, featuring outstanding designs recognized for conceptual strength, craftsmanship, and creative impact.

Serving as a platform for global design dialogue, the exhibition connects designers, creative thinkers, and innovators across cultures through a shared language of excellence—while offering insight into the future of the international design industry.

The designers reinterpret culinary heritage into fashion, crafts, and objects that connect the past, belief, and everyday life in meaningful ways—demonstrating the depth and global relevance of Thai design.

{JUN} – “S-Larb”, reflecting craftsmanship, ritual, and the spirit of prosperity
