Jasper Soerensen – General Manager 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird
Birds of a feather flock together: 25hours Hotels announces the appointment of Jesper Soerensen as General Manager of 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird, and a whole new world of possibilities for modern nomads, daydreamers and night owls looking for something different in the urban jungle.
25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird set to open in November 2024 and Asia’s first 25hours Hotel, brings the lifestyle brand’s ’Come As You Are’ philosophy to Jakarta’s fast-evolving vibrant, kinetic chaos to create a colourful haven for those who live life on their terms and on their time; the ultimate place to nest amid life’s adventures and a place for those who do business unusual to show off their plumage.
It’s a challenge made in heaven for Soerensen, who brings the global perspective of 23 years in lifestyle and luxury hospitality to this unique new addition in Jakarta. A Danish national who speaks three languages, his career has taken him from Nicaragua to London, Doha, Miami, Los Angeles, Singapore, and the Maldives.
“My journey has brought me to Jakarta where I am truly thrilled and excited to lead a talented team to bring 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird to life,” says Soerensen. “I believe our spaces, like the 25hours Hotels
brand, are very unique. We aspire to be a home away from home for cultural chameleons who blur the boundaries between business and leisure and want
what they want, when they want”.
“We also plan to bring the buzz. Think collaborations, installations, pop-ups and partnerships. We open- heartedly welcome all Oddbirds, those who celebrate their individuality, but want to feel at home in their flock, and be free to soar.”
