MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATES 42 MICHELIN KEYSIN ASIA PACIFIC EXCLUDING CHINA

33 hotels under Marriott International earn honors at the MICHELIN Key Awards

BANGKOK, THAILAND, November 2025 – Marriott International is proud to announce that 33 of its exceptional hotels across Asia Pacific excluding China have been recognized with a total of 42 MICHELIN Keys at the 2025 global MICHELIN Key Awards. This remarkable achievement underscores Marriott International’s unwavering commitment to delivering world-class hospitality, exceptional design, and unforgettable guest experiences across its portfolio.

Revealed on October 8th, 2025, the MICHELIN Guide Key awards marked a global expansion, revealing top hotel selections across North America, Europe, Asia, and nearly 100 new countries. Among the honorees, 28 Marriott properties earned One MICHELIN Key, while The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko retained its Two Key status. The HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO, a Luxury Collection Hotel and Spa, Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo, Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve were awarded the highest distinction of Three MICHELIN Keys.

In Thailand, Marriott achieved a total of eight MICHELIN Keys. Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, the ultra-luxurious beachfront sanctuary in Krabi, was recognized with Three MICHELIN Keys for the second consecutive year, reaffirming its status as one of Asia's most extraordinary places to stay. The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok, the new urban icon in the heart of the Thai capital, and The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, which is nestled on the coast of Naka Yai Island, a short speedboat ride from Phuket, were both honored with One Key for the first time. Three members of the Design Hotels™ collection were also awarded One Key: Iniala Beach House, a Member of Design Hotels™, which features just 10 luxurious villas on the soft sands of Natai Beach, The Slate (Phuket), a Member of Design Hotels™, the striking Bill Bensley-designed resort which pays homage to Phuket’s tin mining past, and Mason (Pattaya), a Member of Design Hotels™, a unique 35-villa beachfront resort which appears to be carved out of the rock, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand.
