Clean, stylish and minimalist designs with personalisation options for interchangeable bands, monogrammed initials and adjustable sizing
MY MILLINER has been creating high-quality hats since 2014, with a range of elegant styles which evoke the timeless spirit of travel, outdoor occasions, and endless summers. MY MILLINER is pleased to introduce its selection of upscale men’s and women’s sun hats within the Asian market, while also offering local customisation options and a bespoke monogram service.
The brand creates high quality sustainably-made hats. Each exclusive piece is carefully crafted to enable the wearer to achieve harmony in any environment or social occasion - from poolside to the yacht club, through to international sojourns, and the sharing of moments of joy in the sunshine.
Your personal hat maker of distinction: fine tailoring for you and your desired look and style
The MY MILLINER range includes the Classic, made from natural, cream or charcoal handwoven toquilla straw and gives the wearer the chance to easily customise the colourways in daily wear with its interchangeable 100% leather band; the Zenith, with a flat-top form which bridges usability for both casual and formal occasions, and also sports a natural toquilla straw construction and the option to change the band; the Portofino, for a traditional look available in both short and wide-brim form with interchangeable band; and the York, with a versatile profile made of toquilla with a short-brim, and like the rest of the range can be finished to taste by simply slipping off and switching bands.
The band itself enables wearers to select from four colour options – tan, brown, beige or black, and customers can purchase additional leather bands as separates for their beloved investment piece. Each style is available in Women’s and Men’s small, medium and large sizes. For a tailored finish, each hat has an adjuster inside the sweatband which can be tightened for an exact fit.
The range also features premium caps and bucket hats which include complimentary monogramming.
For a one-of-a-kind piece, customers can choose to add monograms of initials to be hot-pressed onto the leather panels. These details are custom-tailored in-house, with new premium retail locations due to be announced in due course. Each hat is shipped to customers in an exclusive MY MILLINER drawstring bag and custom environmentally-friendly fold-down box.

Spotlight: MY MILLINER Founder and Creative Director
Company founder and designer, Amelia Hughes, spoke of the brand’s exciting entry into the Asian market, particularly opportunities it affords for high-quality localisation: “We developed our personalised range in response to demand for hats with customisable design elements. Our aim was to create timeless, versatile staple pieces that can be worn throughout the seasons. We paired traditional quality craftsmanship with a clean minimalist aesthetic.”
Amelia is a former international model and ancestor of Australian WW1 Prime Minister, William Morris Hughes. Since its foundation, MY MILLINER hats have been worn by notable personalities, and feature regularly at equestrian events and high-society social gatherings in the world’s most sought-after locations. “The brand epitomises enduring and trendless design. It represents the heritage and history of traditional craftsmanship, but at the same time the designs are modern and functional. Our customers appreciate heritage and classism but explore that in a modern way,” she says.
Amelia is keen to point out however that the hats have a real ‘dawn-to-dusk’ wearability to them: “The brand offers hats that are beautifully hand-made and finished down to the finest detail. Many of the lines are crafted from South American toquilla straw and are environmentally-friendly, highly resilient to wear and of course are all-natural and sustainably-sourced from a materials standpoint. It has always been my aim to ensure our hats are wearable in both casual and formal settings. This is one of the reasons why MY MILLINER hats are often bought as investment pieces or as gifts for loved ones, with a personalised touch that can be treasured.”
MY MILLINER passionately follows an ethos for proffering the importance of “slow fashion”, believing in the benefits of a product that is able to be worn and used for many years. “Consumers are becoming more discerning and demanding of alternatives to fast fashion and wasteful disposability.”
“I like to think of our hats as wardrobe staples that can elevate your everyday outfit, as well as being a trusty travel companion.
Amelia says, “When we design our pieces, I think of them as a feature in all of the different sunny settings – long lunches, city strolls, sunset canapes, boating, winery tours or sun-lounging in a beautiful resort.”
She concludes, “Our hats are for those who enjoy exploring their world at leisure, appreciating picturesque scenery and living their life through a lens of elegant and functional design.”
To celebrate the official launch of MY MILLINER in Asia, all hats are being offered currently with complimentary free delivery. Hats can be ordered and customised directly on the global site https://www.mymilliner.com/ (Instagram: @my.milliner).
