Norwood Young’s Hollywood Soul Supper Club will be Bangkok's first soul music supper club. Transforming the Lancaster Hotel’s glitzy 18th-floor rooftop lounge club, the supper club promises dinner and a fabulous show focused on authentic soul music unlike anything in Bangkok. Expect to be blown away. The music in the venue will be dedicated to soul music and bringing an authentic soul music attitude as performed by Norwood Young and his Hollywood Soul Band. Norwood Young is an award-winning American recording artist and grammy music nominee and is considered a television and music celebrity in the US. He has appeared in Broadway productions and performed in Las Vegas. Since arriving in Bangkok Norwood has performed for brands Louis Vuitton, Coca Cola, the US Embassy, and Utopia Hospitality Group’s Grand Opening Gala, as well as spent the last few years headlining at award-winning venues The Crimson Room and Maggie Choo’s. The food will be focused on American Soul Food, the menu was developed as a fine dining concept of American soul food with a modern adaptation by incorporating a full vegan menu and a fusion Thai dishes dubbed ‘Thoul Food’. A play on words by combining Thai and Soul Food. The core menu is deeply rooted in traditional authentic American soul food so guests should expect an authentic experience. The supper club offers a 3-course dinner starting at 2,000++ THB inclusive of ‘Soultizzer’, main, a desert, and a complimentary cocktail. |
Norwood Young’s Hollywood Soul Supper Club will be the first and only African-American-owned supper club in South East Asia. It will also be the first and only SOUL supper club in Asia.
