Chonburi, February 2026: Rugby School Thailand is pleased to announce the development of a new Golf Performance Centre, in partnership with TPR Golf Academy, scheduled to open in August 2026.

The Golf Performance Centre will be a modern, purpose-built facility for golfers of all ages and ability levels. It will offer professional coaching, structured training programmes and top-quality practice environments. The centre will be managed by TPR Golf Academy, a hugely experienced organisation with a strong record in golf coaching and performance development. Head Coach, Tyrone Renggli, from TPR Golf Academy commented:

“We are very pleased to work with Rugby School Thailand on this project. It has been on our minds for years, and now it is time to realise this dream together. The golf centre will provide top-class facilities and high-quality coaching to support golfers at every stage of their development.”
For Rugby School Thailand students, the centre will allow golf training to fit easily into School life. Students will have regular access to expert coaching, modern facilities and a clear pathway for performance development. For the wider community, the centre will be open to the public, offering a high-quality training environment that is not currently available in the region.

The Principal of Rugby School Thailand, Mr Bruce Grindlay, added:
“Golf develops discipline, resilience and confidence; this centre will be a valuable opportunity for our students, as well as the wider community. It’s especially valuable given there is nothing else like it in the area.”

This announcement comes during an important period for Rugby School Thailand. The School has recently received an ‘Outstanding’ rating in all areas and Gold Level accreditation from both British Schools Overseas (BSO) and the International Schools Quality Mark (ISQM). It was also ranked in the top 7% of international schools worldwide for A Level grade improvement.

Looking ahead to the 2026–27 academic year, the Golf Performance Centre is part of a wider programme of developments, which include a new 750-seat auditorium for performing arts and major events, an indoor climbing facility, and celebrations marking the School’s 10th anniversary.
Together, these milestones reflect Rugby School Thailand’s clear vision: to provide an exceptional, forward-thinking education that combines academic rigour, outstanding co-curricular provision and meaningful engagement with the wider community.
