TAT Launches “Charming Cities: Year of Celebration” with 12 Inspiring Campaigns for Thailand’s Green Season

​On May 14, 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, kicked off the “Charming Cities: Year of Celebration” campaign. Designed to boost domestic tourism during the rainy season, this initiative features 12 creative campaigns tailored to Sub-Culture lifestyles. The goal: to highlight 55 secondary cities across Thailand with fresh perspectives and generate at least 500 million baht in tourism revenue.

Mr. Krisada Tanterdthit, Secretary to the Minister of Tourism and Sports, noted that this campaign is part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism & Sports Year 2025. It aims to inspire travel across Thailand while stimulating the local economy. Through collaboration between government bodies, private sectors, and various partners, the campaign promotes city branding and introduces exciting, alternative travel options for modern Thai travelers.

TAT’s Deputy Governor for Domestic Marketing, Mr. Apichai Chatchalermkit, explained that the campaign runs from June to September 2025. It invites travelers to experience unique stories, local charm, and new travel angles—told through over 50 influencers and bloggers. The initiative also includes special promotions in collaboration with travel partners nationwide.
