Annual Christmas Lighting Ritual Concertini at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok

On 1 December 2021, following the success of previous events, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok presented the ‘Lady in Red’ lighting ceremony yet again, which was followed by the official Christmas tree lighting ritual, conducted by the hotel’s managing director, Richard Schestak, and the iconic Ladies in Red.
 
The festive entertainment programme led into a Christmas Concertini performance by ten talented young singers from the Kawai Piano Institute. This was then followed by excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s ‘The Nutcracker’ by Bangkok City Ballet, and finally, a grand appearance from the king of the North Pole, Santa Claus, as the lobby erupted into applause. Towering above all performances stood the grand 10-metre-tall Christmas tree decorated with green and gold ornaments.
