Today ASICS has launched GEL-BND™, a bold reimagination of the original GEL-BONDI™ shoe model. This on-trend shoe combines comfort and style with a chunky and audacious design that will define any streetwear look.
The original GEL-BONDI shoe model was launched in Spring 1998 in Australia as a light, breathable triathlon shoe. Whilst triathlon shoes were typically saturated with neutral tones, ASICS paved the way with bright and eye catching colours to help the triathlete stand out with every stride. Rooted in heritage, ASICS has made a bold and modern re-run of this shoe.

The GEL-BND™ shoe has a chunky and aggressive midsole inspired by the classic GEL-DIABLO™ model and GEL-KAYANO™ 5 OG shoe design. The GEL-BND shoe has taken elements from these timeless shoes and created a modern interpretation.
The lightweight shoe features a breathable open mesh upper accompanied with bold and bright colours that acknowledge its proud heritage. The open mesh is reminiscent of the original style with the distinct tongue logo emphasising this unique design. The legacy of the GEL-BONDI continues to shine through as the premium back counter detailing draws in the original design with distinct colour.
GEL-BND is now available at 24 Kilates, Seek, Carnival and ATMOS at THB 2,700.
