Bangkok, Thailand, October 16, 2025 – Le Du Kaan, Bangkok’s first rooftop Thai restaurant, which is perched on the 56th floor of EA Rooftop at The Empire, is inviting couples, families and friends to come together and experience the magic of the Loy Krathong festival with an upbeat evening of Thai culture and colorful mixology.

Loy Krathong is one of Asia’s most magical festivals. Under the light of the full moon, Thai people flock to the shores of rivers and lakes across the country to light candles and release their handcrafted “krathongs” – floating vessels usually made from woven banana leaves and flowers – to honor the Water Goddess and receive blessings for the year ahead. To mark this exquisite occasion, Le Du Kaan will showcase the spirit of Thailand with a temple fair-themed event and plenty of activities.

Having been greeted by team members wearing classical Thai costumes, guests can light a candle, make a wish and release their krathong. Then, the fun truly begins! Revelers can discover a Fairy Wheel Cocktail, an illuminated carousel carrying a sweet, fruity shot (Belvedere vodka, pineapple juice, Grenadine, Blue Curaçao), which captures the playful ambiance with its vibrant rainbow hue. For a lively social celebration, friends can share the Color of Joy bucket cocktail — a glowing neon tribute to Thailand’s vibrant beach culture and iconic full moon parties — along with a selection of heritage-inspired cocktails such as Kratong (Mekhong Thai whiskey, Pepsi, lime), Ms. Nop-Pa-Mas (Belvedere vodka, passionfruit, orange, agave, soda water), and Ganga (Belvedere vodka, kaffir lime, lemongrass, lime, soda water).

To help the occasion go with a swing, all ages can enjoy classic Thai temple fair games such as balloon darts, and a popcorn cart will be wheeled around the restaurant to delight diners. As the evening draws to a close, raise a glass and marvel at the spectacular fireworks illuminating the Chao Phraya River, a dazzling finale to a night of culture, flavor, and celebration high above the city.

And of course, couples and families can elevate their evening with Le Du Kaan’s original style of Thai cuisine, which blends the finest produce with a rich storytelling narrative. Guided by Chef Ton Thitid  Tassanakajohn, the Michelin-starred culinary maestro and the only Thai chef to have two entries on the “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants” list, this spectacular rooftop restaurant blends world-class gastronomy with unparalleled views across the Thai capital’s sparkling skyline.

Don’t miss the chance to celebrate the beauty and tradition of Loy Krathong at Le Du Kaan. This fun, festive event will be staged for one night only, on November 5, 2025.
