Mid-Autumn Festival is renowned for its celebration of togetherness under the full moon, and is the perfect occasion to indulge in mooncakes—a symbol of unity and prosperity. Yu Ting Yuan, the Cantonese restaurant nestled within Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, invites guests to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 with an exquisite selection of limited-edition mooncakes crafted by MICHELIN-starred Chef Tommy Cheung.
 
Chef Tommy Cheung shares his inspiration behind this year’s mooncake collection: “The Mid-Autumn Festival holds a special place in my heart, inspiring these mooncakes that blend tradition with the luxurious essence of Four Seasons. Each mooncake is a testament to culinary excellence, meticulously prepared to ensure an unforgettable sensory experience.”

Chef Tommy Cheung has curated an exceptional assortment for this year’s celebration. “For me, each mooncake represents a story. It’s about creating a sensory journey that evokes nostalgia and joy, especially during the Mid-Autumn Festival,” smiles Chef Tommy.
 
  • Traditional Lotus Paste Salted Egg Yolk Mooncakes: Delve into tradition with these mooncakes, where each bite reveals sumptuous lotus seed paste surrounding a perfectly balanced salted egg yolk. The sweet lotus paste and savoury egg yolk symbolize the fullness of the moon and abundant blessings.
 
  • Durian Salted Egg Yolk Mooncakes: Experience the bold flavours of durian combined with creamy lotus seed paste and a luxurious salted egg yolk centre. The durian's distinct aroma and custard-like texture are enhanced by savoury notes from the egg yolk, promising a uniquely indulgent taste experience.
 
  • Custard Salted Egg Yolk Mooncakes: Delight in the velvety smooth custard filling delicately complemented by savoury hints of salted egg yolk. Each bite offers a luxurious blend of textures and flavours, creating a delightful symphony on the palate.

Each mooncake set is presented in a commemorative collector's box, featuring a rich burgundy box exterior with gold foil accents and a blind embossed magnetic closure, embodying Four Seasons’ dedication to premium quality and creating a memorable gifting experience. “I invite everyone to join us in celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with these special mooncakes. Each set of exclusive four 140-gram mooncakes include Traditional Lotus Paste Salted Egg Yolk and Durian Salted Egg Yolk mooncakes, priced at THB 2,488 net.
 
Sets of 70-gram mooncakes feature Lotus Paste Salted Egg Yolk, Durian Salted Egg Yolk, Custard Salted Egg Yolk, and Mango Pine Nuts mooncakes, available for THB 1,488 per box, net. Each set contains 8 pieces.
 
A limited collection of mooncake sets is now available for pre-order with a minimum of 48 hours' notice.
