Pagoda Chinese Restaurant, the award-winning Cantonese dining destination at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting hotel guests and local residents to savor the authentic flavors of China’s Dragon Boat Festival this June, with a special promotion that showcases Jiaxing Zongzi – traditional rice dumplings.
To commemorate this Dragon Boat Festival, our skilled culinary team led by Chef Oscar Pun has handcrafted exquisite Jiaxing Zongzi. With care and the finest ingredients, Jiaxing Zongzi rice dumplings at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant give nothing but the finest flavors and textures in every bite.
Two types of Jiaxing zongzi are available at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant: the “Premium Meat Filling” version (THB 280 net per piece) is packed with pork belly, dried shrimp, dried scallop, Chinese pork sausage, roasted duck, shiitake mushroom, chestnuts, salted egg and mung beans, while the “Sweet Filling” (THB 180 net per piece) includes taro, taro paste, chestnuts, mung beans, red beans, Chinese jujube paste, lotus seeds and gingko nuts.
Both versions are presented in an attractive individual green box, creating a delicious solo snack. These traditional treats also make a wonderful present for friends, family and colleagues, and two “Zongzi Gift Box” options are available. The first features four Premium Meat Filling zongzi for THB 1,288 net per box, while the second contains two Premium Meat Filling zongzi and two Sweet Filling zongzi for THB 1,088 net per box.
The Jiaxing zongzi promotion at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant runs from 1st to 30th June 2023, and is available for lunch (11.30-14.30 hrs) and dinner (18.00-22.00 hrs). For takeaway orders, guests can order one day in advance and pick up during the restaurant’s operating hours.
