Dolfin Application and Central Restaurants Group pave way for a ‘new normal’ lifestyle with contactless dining and takeaway services

Dine-in or order for take away with ease through Dolfin’s ‘Zero-Touch Dine in Experience’ and ‘Order & Collect’ available at 12 Central Restaurants Group outlets across Bangkok.​
 Dolfin application, as part of Central JD Fintech Group in collaboration with Central Restaurants Group (CRG) have announced the launch of Thailand’s first contactless ‘Zero Touch Dine-in Experience’, which allows customers to dine-in, order food and pay all through the Dolfin app, without the need for contact with menu or cash in line with the ‘new normal’ lifestyle. Consecutively, Dolfin also launched its new ‘Order & Collect’ service on the app, which will allow consumers to order for food via the application, eliminating the need for physical contact, as well as to save time waiting in queues.
 
Rungruang Sukkirdkijpiboon, Chief Executive Officer of Central JD Fintech Holding said: Dolfin application works towards its brand concept of ‘Kid Hai Chai Fin’ to create an easy, safe and better payment experience for customers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dolfin sees the changing need in customer behaviors, and the increasing in demand for take-away services. At the same time, the demand to return and dine-in at restaurants have also risen, coupled with concerns on food safety and hygiene that stems from physical contact. Moreover, it can be seen that restaurant businesses have adjusted their services to meet ways of life that prioritize convenience, safety and speed for both dine-in and take-away service. We used our technology expertise to develop contactless payment feature in the Dolfin app, and partnered with Central Restaurants Group to create a touch-free dining experience that corresponds to the new normal of living.
The ‘Order & Collect’ service can be divided into 2 features;
  • 'Zero Touch Dine-in Experience' allows customers who wish to dine-in to view the menu, order food and pay all through the Dolfin app. To do so, simply scan the QR code on the Dolfin app at the table. Customers can pay through their Dolfin e-Wallet or credit cards and bank accounts linked to the Dolfin Wallet. The new ‘Zero Touch Dine-in Experience’ is now available at leading restaurants including Pepper Lunch, Chabuton Ramen, Cold Stone Creamery, Thai Terrace, Yoshinoya, Ootoya, and Katsuya at Central World and Fashion Island, along with a plan to extend the service to Central Ladprao and Terminal 21, Asoke branch soon.
  • The ‘Order & Collect’ feature allows customers to save time on take-away services and avoid unnecessary physical contact. Customers can simply order food in advance and pay directly through the Dolfin app. Orders can be made from anywhere and can be picked up within 30 minutes. This feature provides a convenient, fast and secure way to order and collect, without any additional charges. 
 
Customers can now order food from 12 popular brands in the CRG network including;

Mister Donut, Auntie Anne’s, Pepper Lunch, Chabuton Ramen, Cold Stone Creamery, Thai Terrace, Yoshinoya, Ootoya, Tenya, Katsuya, Aroi Dee and Kowlune, with over 37 branches nationwide, through the Dolfin application.
