Eat Me’s chef and co-owner Tim Butler has revised the menu for the summer months, roving the world as always for new inspiration and fine ingredients.

Five new dishes have been added to the selection, which along with the complete menu and drinks list is available from 3pm every afternoon of the week, until 1am.

Lobster + Bucatini Pasta:  Bucatini pasta is derived from the Italian word “bucato”, which means “pierced”, and the spaghetti-like strands have a hole running through the centre. This light yet satisfying pasta goes perfectly with Maine lobster and Chef Tim’s colatura di alici sauce, which is made from anchovies and translates as “anchovy drippings”.
Seared Wild White King Salmon: Most king salmon have flesh that ranges from reddish orange to pinkish-red, and so the white king salmon is at a premium, and highly sought after. Tim sources the wild white king salmon from Alaska, and serves it with asparagus, cucumber, and a blend of spices known as garam masala.
Pan-Seared Ayu: The ayu is also known as sweetfish because of its sweet flavour, and is native to the coast of Hokkaido, the Korean peninsula, and along the China coast. Tim lightly sears two fish, and adds a wedge of lemon along with thyme and chilli, this being all that is needed to accompany the delicious fresh, sweetfish taste.
Australian Salt Bush Lamb Rack: In his unceasing quest for the best ingredients, Tim uses Australian Saltbush lamb for this new dish. The lamb grazes free-range on the Saltbush pastures of the Ozzie Outback, a pristine natural environment that means it has a fresh, clean taste and a rich flavour that is complemented by the vincotto dressing, also known as “cooked wine” as it is made from unfermented grape must.
Australian Black Winter Truffles Pappardelle:  Australian black winter truffle is grown from the spore of the Perigord truffle, and has an intense aroma and flavour. Harvested during Australia’s winter, they are available during our summer months. Tim uses their dark earthy taste to accompany the broad, flat pasta known as pappardelle, whose name is derived from the Italian word for “to gobble up”.

Eat Me is located just off Soi Convent, in Bangkok’s central business district, a five-minute walk from both the BTS Skytrain Sala Daeng station and the MRT subway Silom station. Car parking is available.
