Goji Kitchen + Bar, the international culinary marketplace at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting guests and local residents to embark on a gastronomic tour of Italy this year at its popular weekend buffets and brunches.
Stretching over 1,000km from the Alps in the north to Sicily in the south, Italy is a wonderfully diverse country, and this is reflected in its cuisine. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch throughout the year, the expert chefs at Goji Kitchen + Bar will showcase authentic cuisine from different regions of Italy.
This epicurean adventure starts in Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean. For three months until 27th March 2022, chefs will showcase a “Cucina Siciliana” menu that features famous local antipasti dishes including burrata & marinated orange salad with extra virgin olive oil, chili & basil, and arancini with mozzarella, green peas & spicy arrabiata sauce, plus a sizzling main course of grilled swordfish with vegetable caponata & fresh lemon.
The talented culinary team will also be serving fresh, handmade pasta dishes including gambero rosso (red prawn ravioli with lobster bisque sauce) and casarecce alla norma (pasta eggplant with spicy pepperoncino sauce & pecorino cheese), as well as pizzas with a choice of toppings, such as spicy salami & roasted garlic, and grilled vegetable caponata.
For dessert, diners can choose from a classic tiramisu, traditional Sicilian cannoli freshly made at a live station, and authentic Italian gelato with biscotti.
