Goji Kitchen + Bar, the vibrant international culinary marketplace at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting hotel guests and local residents to embark on a journey to China this October, with 10 days of special buffets, lunches and brunches including a live noodle pulling experience by a highly skilled guest chef from The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin.
From October 18th to 27th, 2024, couples, families and friends can come together and savor “The Art of Chinese Cuisine” with more than 20 delectable dishes and dramatic live stations. Available as part of the restaurant’s International Weekday Buffet Dinners, International Weekend Buffet Dinners, Saturday Lunches, and Sunday Brunches, this is an unmissable experience for all lovers of fine Chinese cuisine.
Diners can discover an extensive selection of delicacies that highlight the rich traditions of the Middle Kingdom. A Live Dim Sum Station will be overseen by the guest chef and will serve handcrafted gao buli (steamed pork, shrimp & scallion dumplings) and Tianjin dumplings (steamed glutinous rice, shrimp & mushroom dumplings), while a series of Stir-Fried Dishes will include kung pao chicken & chili sauce, wok-fried Chinese kale, shitake mushrooms & brown sauce, and Tianjin-style stir-fried XO scallops with celery, dried chili & peanuts. A choice of Steamed Fish will feature whole sea bass on weekdays and grouper on weekends, with three kinds of sauce (Szechuan, Hunan, and soy), and a choice of Soups includes a unique dough drop soup with assorted vegetables, and hot & sour soup with chicken.
Every dining experience will also be enlivened with a spark of culinary theater. A Live BBQ Station will present sizzling Chinese roasted chicken, roasted duck and barbecued pork, plus perfectly cooked Peking duck with all the traditional accompaniments for Sunday Brunch, and a Szechuan-style Mala Grill Station will showcase spicy marinated beef, prawns and squid.
The highlight of every buffet or brunch will be the Live Ramen Performance, as the culinary maestro from The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin hand-pulls ramen and sliced noodles in the time-honored Chinese style, which dates back generations. A separate Noodle Station will also feature mouth-watering noodles with homemade spicy marinated beef, preserved plum flavored pork ribs, and prawn wontons.
