In a first for the World Gourmet Festival, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel will showcase the City of Angels’ enviable status as the best city in the world for street food on Thursday, 5th September 2019, when Bangkok’s popular street vendors will prepare their fare in food stalls strewn around the Parichart open-air garden courtyard.
Among the very best of Bangkok’s street food vendors have been selected to offer a mouth-watering range of snacks, soups, main courses and desserts. Each stall will be showcasing their iconic signature dish that has made them an enduring and well-loved institution. Of the total 9 vendors, the selection also includes four whom have made it to the Michelin Guide: ‘Ann Guay Tiew Kua Gai’ (chicken fried noodles), ‘Sawang Bami Kam Pu’ (noodles with crab), ‘Go-Ang Kaomunkai Pratunam’ (chicken rice) and ‘Elvis Suki’ (sukiyaki). The other stalls which will be cooking up local favourites such as ‘Siri Salapao’ (buns), ‘Chor Leng’ (Stir fried rice noodle with water mimosa), ‘Bokkia Tha Din Daeng’ (steamed flour noodles with a mix of fruits and beans in syrup).
Enjoy Gourmet Street food fair on Thursday 5th September 2019 at Parichart Court, 1st floor Anantara Siam Bangkok hotel (BTS Ratchadamri) from 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm. Priced at THB 650++ per person, including free flow beer. (Prices are subject to 10% service charge and 7% government tax.)
