From 13 April to 14 April 2019, Holiday inn Bangkok is giving you the chance to sample Khao Chae, a popular local dish served during the hot summer months in Thailand.

Made using cooked rice, jasmine-scented water and crushed ice, Khao Chae is known for its cooling properties and is considered a part of Royal Thai cuisine.

For those who are curious to try this historic dish, Ginger restaurant at Holiday Inn Bangkok will be preparing this specialty for lunch during the first two days of the Thai New Year. It will be served with the traditional side dishes like sautéed sweet turnip, deep fried shrimp paste, stuffed green pepper with shrimp, stuffed shallot with fish, sweet dried sheared pork and sweet dried fish with fresh watermelon.
 
Price is Baht 499++ per person
