Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa, the stylish beachside retreat on Thailand’s glittering gulf coast, is inviting diners to savor one of the world’s most highly-prized delicacies this January, with its latest luxurious promotion: Caviar Creations.
 
Caviar is the roe from wild sturgeon fish, traditionally found in the Caspian and Black seas. From 3rd to 31st January 2020, Big Fish & Bar, the resort’s signature seafront dining destination, will allow guests to purchase a choice of two premium caviars: Beluga (Huso Huso) and Royal Oscietra.
 
Beluga, also known as “Huso Huso” caviar, is the most expensive of all black caviars, with large eggs and a color that  varies from medium to dark brown, with a clear and golden finish. It has a distinctive flavor of the sea with buttery overtones.
 
Royal Oscietra caviar is made from the roe of hybrid beluga and sturgeon fish. This gives it large and firm eggs, with a pearly gray or dark hazel color and a distinctive aroma. With a lush, buttery finish, this has become one of the popular types of caviar on the market.
A selection of different quantities are available, including 15, 30, 50, 100 and 250 grams, with prices varying from THB 2,990++ to THB 52,500++. Each variety will be accompanied by traditional condiments.
 
Alexander Horwat, Big Fish & Bar’s exciting young Head Chef, has also crafted three original dishes that showcase this indulgent ingredient. Smoked Sturgeon (THB 699++) is complemented by sweet, earthy beetroot, spicy wasabi and refreshing sour cream for a wonderfully balanced plate, while Alexander’s Golden Egg (THB 799++) features an organic egg yolk, brown butter and royal oscietra caviar. Finally, the Fillet of Sturgeon (THB 1,690++) is perfectly pan-fried in brown butter and accompanied by cauliflower, miso, and soy tomato.
 
This exclusive caviar promotion is available until the end of January 2020. Guests who want to purchase beluga caviar should place their order at least three days in advance.
