Monsoon Valley Vineyard, known for its internationally acclaimed Thai wines, is teaming up with The Standard, Hua Hin, the Thai resort where chic beach vibes meet mid-century style, to host two exclusive Four-Hands Dinners on February 3rd and 10th, 2023. The dinners will be led by Monsoon Valley Vineyard's Resident Chef Watcharapak and The Standard, Hua Hin’s Executive Chef Antony.
The first dinner will take place at Lido, an Italian restaurant at The Standard, Hua Hin on Friday, February 3rd, 2023. Guests will start the evening with an aperitivo by the pool, followed by a selection of four-course dinner. The meal will begin with freshly baked focaccia, cumin, and paprika grissini, before moving on to two starters. The cold starter will be Del Casaro Burrata accompanied by basil, grilled red grapes on the vine, and a vinegary dressing. The hot starter will be a unique Pan-fried Salmon with Roasted Onion, Cherry Tomato, and Zucchini, followed by homemade grape Nutella and Balsamic Reduction.
The main course will be an Australian 120-day grain-fed Black Angus flank steak, served with grilled grape and radicchio risotto made from Monsoon Valley Sparkling Brut Prestige and Shiraz sauce. To conclude the evening, guests will enjoy Coffee Mascarpone Ice Cream consisting of Coco powder and Coffee Kahlua ice cream.

Next, savor the Sweet Braised Baby Squid, a dish of baby squid served with Baby Shallot Confit, Grape Pickle, and Salted Eggs Sauce.
The main course will be a 12h slow-cooked Australian Black Angus beef cheek in red wine, cooked with Monsoon Valley shiraz and served with creamy polenta, sautéed mushrooms, green beans, ricotta, roasted almonds, Italian parsley, and anchovy condiment.
End the night on a sweet note with Goat Cheese Panna Cotta, served with wine jelly made by Monsoon Valley Brut Prestige Sparkling.
