On 14 November, in collaboration with Starmont Winery and Merryvale Vineyards, InterContinental Bangkok is hosting an exclusive wine tasting event from 19:00 to 21:00 hours at contemporary Italian restaurant Theo Mio. Representatives from these two leading wine producers in the renowned Napa Valley wine region will be on-hand to share their insights with wine enthusiasts. |  |
They are Proprietor & CEO of Merryvale Family of Wines René Schlatter and Asia Pacific Brand Ambassador for Merryvale Vineyards Julien Bonnard who will be discussing the winery’s family legacy and excellence in producing Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
A suggested food pairing menu will also be made available for guests, specially prepared by Chef Theo Randall. It will include specialties like Calamari in Padella; Linguine con Granchio with jumbo crab meat, chilli garlic, and lemon zest; Maialino Arrosto (Roasted suckling pig, caramelized apple, endive and sweet mustard dressing); and Agnello a Scottadito (Lamb chops and slow cooked rib, grilled vegetables, olives and red wine).
Featured wine for the evening will include all the signature bottles like the 2015 Starmont Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, 2015 Merryvale Carneros Chardonnay, 2012 Starmont Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2013 Merryvale Napa Valle Cabernet Sauvignon.
Guests can enjoy wine by the glass at Baht 300++ and by the bottle at Baht 1,500++. To get the most out of the experience, a flight of all five wines will also be available at Baht 800++.
