The lunch set features delectable traditional Thai recipes, including appetizers: “Goong Sarong” (deep-fried prawns wrapped with egg noodles), “La Tiang” (ancient snack of pork, shrimp and peanuts wrapped in egg mesh), and “Mee Krob Kratong Thong” (crispy vermicelli with tamarind sauce served in crispy golden cup), “Yam Tawai” the ancient salad recipe comprising shredded chicken and seven varieties of vegetables blanched in coconut milk, “Ran Juan Curry”, traditional pork or beef soup seasoned with shrimp paste, main dishes: “Pla Nua”, grilled beef with betel leaves and fresh herbs, “Chu Chee Kung Maenam”, deep-fried river prawn with red curry sauce, “Mu Pad Som Siew”, stir-fried pork with yellow chili paste, and “Phad Pak Noppakao”, wok-fried mixed vegetables with oyster sauce, and “Bua Loy Look Tarn” or rice flour balls in coconut milk, a perfect dessert to complete the meal. Remark: The rehearsals for the royal barge procession will be held during 11:30 – 18:30 hrs. on the abovementioned dates and all water transportation routes will be closed.
