Bangkok, Thailand: 25 July 2025 – K by Vicky Cheng, the stylish and contemporary Chinese dining destination perched on the 56th floor of The Empire Tower in the heart of Bangkok, has unveiled a choice of new Tasting Menus that showcase the restaurant’s most iconic dishes to transport every diner on a multi-sensory journey to the Middle Kingdom.

The talented chefs at K by Vicky Cheng source luxurious imported ingredients, specialty Chinese produce, and fresh, seasonal herbs and vegetables to craft modern yet authentic Cantonese and Chiu Chow flavors, all inspired by the legend of the “kilin” – the mythological flying creature that represents the flow of life and the bounty of a successful harvest.
Now, this culinary creativity can be experienced in a choice of 11- and 12-course Tasting Menus which are perfect for couples who want to discover a range of different dishes. Highly prized Chinese and global delicacies, including the finest fresh and dried seafood, are used to reimagine some of the restaurant's most popular menu items in plates that are perfect for two people to share.
The 11-course “Signature Tasting Menu” lets couples discover a selection of K by Vicky Cheng’s most distinctive and indulgent signature dishes, such as River Prawns with Chinese Olive Leaf & Garlic, succulent Char Siu Barbecued Iberico Pork, and tender Wok-Fried Wagyu Beef Flat Noodles – all for one enticing and affordable price.
The 12-course “Premium Tasting Menu” has also been crafted for two people to enjoy together. Elevating the dining experience with a series of exceptional seafood dishes, this menu includes curated plates such as Smoked & Marinated Egg with Oscietra Caviar, Cantaloupe Conch Soup with Fish Maw, Steamed Glacier 51 Toothfish with Soy Sauce, and the truly lavish 20-head South African Kippin Dried Abalone in 5-Year Abalone Sauce. Both of these menus end with an auspicious dessert of Double Boiled Bird's Nest with Chilled Coconut Milk.

The first overseas restaurant by Vicky Cheng, Hong Kong’s visionary Michelin-starred chef, K by Vicky Cheng blends the timeless traditions of Chinese cuisine with modern culinary techniques, art-inspired interiors, and breathtaking views of Bangkok’s cityscape. With striking artworks, deep hues of red and gold, and intricately carved wooden panels to symbolize longevity and prosperity, this sophisticated yet inviting restaurant sets the stage for truly unforgettable occasions.

The two new Tasting Menus are available for lunch (11.30 – 14.30 hrs) and dinner (17.00 – 22.30 hrs). The “Signature Tasting Menu” is priced at THB 2,880++ per person, while the “Premium Tasting Menu” can be enjoyed for THB 3,880++ per person. Both menus have been crafted for two guests to share.
