The Japanese restaurant "Kimura Don" is the first and only Donburi restaurant from world-famous sushi chef Koji Kimura, whose “Sushi Kimura” restaurant has achieved 2 Michelin Stars for 5 consecutive years in Tokyo. The first branch of “Kimura Don” will open on the 4th floor of Siam Paragon in early December 2019.
The world-renowned sushi chef, Chef Koji Kimura, has revolutionised the sushi industry by proving that the most delicious sushi is no longer necessarily sushi that emphasises the freshness of the ingredients. Sushi that has been cured or marinated with various types of fish appropriate to the season can bring the most delicious taste of each type of fish into a perfect balance of flavour. Chef Kimura has successfully developed the method of curing fish and has earned himself the honorary title: "Father of Aged Sushi”.
“Kimura Don", a restaurant serving donburi, Japanese-style rice bowls, marks Chef Kimura’s first venture into transforming his world-class sushi restaurant into donburi to suit the Thai lifestyle where people enjoy rice. Be assured that he will still be using his famous sushi techniques to cook for Kimura Don. “Kimura Don” also uses premium imported ingredients from world famous sources such as Japan and Norway, ensuring tastes and textures of super-premium quality. Now we do not have to wait, book months ahead or fly to Japan anymore.
The delicious premium menu style of "Kimura Don" will feature such popular dishes as Kaiho Don (sea urchin, squid, salmon roe with a Japanese egg yolk); Anago Don (sea eel with sansho pepper); Uni Don (sea urchin, squid with a Japanese egg yolk); Hamachi Ibushi Don (smoked yellow tail, asatsuki with soy sauce and pickles); Mushizushi (sea eel, shrimp, sea urchin, shredded omelette and green soybeans) and many more delicious options includes a range of salads and Japanese-style appetisers. Prices will start from 285++ Baht.
