Manohra Cruises at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort invites anyone who loves a gourmet Thai meal accented with five-star service and unparalleled river views to the first Manohra Chef’s Table on 23 November 2019. Diners will be treated to culinary delights especially prepared for the evening by Anantara Riverside Executive Chef Phongthorn Hinracha.

The Chao Phraya is Thailand’s majestic waterway through which flows the Kingdom’s story. Discovering the sights of Thailand’s culture, history, and life today is a sheer pleasure on a luxury dinner cruise aboard Manorha Cruises’ lavishly restored antique teak rice barges. The skyline that unfolds from the Manohra pier at Anantara Riverside speaks to the resplendent past with the Grand Palace, Temple of Dawn, and Phra Sumen Fort, as well as to the nation’s modernity in the form of the Asiatique, Thammasart University, and Rama VII Bridge.

This first Manhora Chef’s Table will feature a menu highlighting Thai flavours with the unique flair that “Chef Phongthorn Hinracha” demonstrated to win the recent Asian Twist competition on Iron Chef Thailand. Dining in style on the Manohra Cruise with the meandering riverside skyline sparkling by to set the mood, guests will experience the award-winning flavours and innovative gastronomic vision of Chef Phongthorn with a four-course culinary journey, which begins with a refreshing  Salmon & Hokkaido Scallop Carpaccio, followed by a Southern Thai Oxtail Consommé. Then diners can choose from a Charcoal-Grilled Snow Fish with Lemongrass Beurre Blanc or a Grilled Australian Darling Downs Wagyu with Panaeng Curry. A Mango Nitrogen Ice Cream with Ginger Crumbles and Wollongong Port Wine Compote makes the perfect finish. To enhance each course further, Chef Phongthorn paired each dish with selections from the Batasiolo Winery in Piedmont, Italy.

This unique journey of the senses begins at 7.00pm at Manohra Welcome Lounge on Saturday, 23 November 2019, for THB 3,200 net including wine pairing, with limited seating available, so advanced bookings are encouraged.
