McFarland House introduces its new Afternoon Tea menu for March and April 2020, keeping in perspective that tea time is a brilliant time for guests to enjoy a social get together or host a business networking meeting, as nothing unites people like a shared meal.
As usual, the Afternoon Tea set has three tiers of cakes and sandwiches. The first tier serves savoury items. You´ll find the French classic vol-au-vent, a light pastry case filled with vegetable ratatouille and the croque monsieur, a French-style sandwich with ham and cheese filling and special menu for salmon lover a smoked salmon sour cream bagel.
For those with a sweet tooth, you will be pleased to find the panna cotta, mini berry tart and lemon macaron, all sitting pretty on tier two.

Scones are the perfect complement to a cup of tea. There are two types of scones, plain and pandan. They are fluffy, each with a golden crust and a soft middle, perfect with mascarpone and homemade passion fruit jam.
As for the tea, choose from a selection of fine teas with the likes of Voyage Loose-Leaf, Japanese Green Tea, Ceylon English Breakfast, Ceylon Earl Grey or a flower tea. A glass of sparkling wine can be added to make your experience a little more fun!
The Afternoon Tea is priced at THB 750++ per couple. To include two glasses of sparkling wine, the price is THB 1,199++ per couple. Available Monday-Saturday from 2.00 PM–5.30 PM.
