 | OPAL The Maison has always loved to work with opal – a precious stone that has appeared in Piaget’s creations since the sixties with a pendant set with a central white opal. Rays set with 28 diamonds radiate from the center. Sourced in Australia and of the finest quality, this expertly carved opal reflects a myriad of hues: yellow, red, green and blue. The range of colours depends on the internal structure of the opal, making each stone unique. Small silica spheres bring out blue hues and larger ones red tones. The light effects will also change depending on the movement of the wearer as well as the naturel light. Every pendant is a one-off creation due to the uniqueness and unrepeatable structure of each opal. Reference: G33R0500 Three diamond necklaces are offered – one a fully paved disc with diamond rays, one a large crescent of diamond rays and one a smaller more bijoux version. Chains of varying lengths on each of the three necklaces allow these three creations to be worn individually, or stacked to create a layered effect – an every-day, yet precious aesthetic, perfect for the modern Piaget woman. In line with the rest of the collection, two pairs of earrings have been created. One is a pair of diamond studs with ear jackets that hang behind the lobes so that the diamond rays appear to float. The second one is a pair of studs with diamond and white gold rays suspended on chains so that the sun motif hangs elegantly, gently moving with each movement. | MOTHER-OF-PEARL Piaget is delighted to offer an exceptional mother-of-pearl pendant that shimmers with a white intensity, the ultimate representation of the sun. It is surrounded by pink gold ‘rays’ set with 49 brilliant-cut diamonds. Piaget selects only the finest mother-of-pearl harvested from the largest pearl oysters in the world. The extremely white, natural and untreated colour from the highest quality is due to the environment in which the oysters are cultivated. It has paved diamond sun motif from which hangs pink gold delicate chain tipped with pink gold triangle that evocate the ray of the sun.
