Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok recreates the tradition with Haute Couture Afternoon Tea, featuring a wide selection of pastry items served in the timeless prominent golden bird cage, at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge from now to the end of January 2019.
Inspired by haute couture, our Executive Pastry Chef conveys his divine experiences and boundless creativity into the glamorous setting of the Lobby Lounge, where guests can watch the activities on the mighty Chao Phraya River.
The Haute Couture Afternoon Tea set combines the artful and highly skilled pieces of work with the classic English tradition, giving guests the definition of splendour and classic. This elegant traditional set consists of petite delicacies, the Duet of Lipstick and Edible Powder Palette and Raspberry-Filled Chocolate Stiletto and Bourbon Vanilla Crumble. They can refill sweetness from the classy scent of Blueberry Leg Feuille Pana Cotta and Caramel Fleur de Sel Sphere. Chocolate lovers can enjoy Hazelnut Jivara Zebra Plaisir and many more, whilst being spellbound by hotel’s harpist with her premier music at the Lobby Lounge, from now to 31 January 2019, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Price is at 1,198++ baht for two persons.
