Bangkok, Thailand, January 27, 2025 – ABar Rooftop, the stylish 38th floor social venue at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting hotel guests and local residents to embark on the next phase of its mixology journey through the Districts of Bangkok (Vol. 2), with a series of six new cocktails that have been specially crafted to tell unique stories and reflect the rich heritage of the Thai capital’s distinct districts and iconic landmarks.

Discover the inspiration behind these exceptional creations, this new series includes “Hello yellow” inspired by the iconic yellow Ministry of Defense building in Phra Nakhon district, this cocktail combines three types of tropical yellow fruits. The fruit peels are sous vide with rum and garnished with dried fruit pieces sprinkled with chili salt, capturing the vibrant street life of Bangkok. “Boat Noodle” pays homage to the famous boat noodles of Victory Monument. This gin-based cocktail is served in a traditional rooster bowl and enhanced with a secret ingredient that evokes the aroma and experience of the beloved dish.
“Golden Mountain” this drink reimagines the charm of the Golden Mountain. Whiskey infused with chamomile tea is served over diamond-shaped ice adorned with gold leaf. Accompanied by crispy glutinous rice crackers, it embodies the festive ambiance of a modern temple fair. And “Monkey Cheeks” is inspired by Chulalongkorn University’s Centenary Park, designed as a water retention area based on the Monkey Cheek irrigation system, this mezcal-based cocktail is served in a ceramic glass crafted from upcycled oyster shells from Goji Kitchen + Bar. The unique glass design reflects the Monkey Cheek concept.

“The Art Centre” inspired by the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, this coffee-flavored cocktail features tequila as its base and is decorated with three primary colors representing artistic creativity. It evokes the spirit of creative exchange while sipping coffee. And finally, “Come Dawn” capturing the beauty of Wat Arun Ratchawararam Woramahawihan, this gin-based cocktail is adorned with isomalt sheets in a bright yellow hue, reminiscent of sunlight at dawn. It’s refreshing watermelon-like taste makes it a perfect drink for hot days.

These six highly innovative cocktails are now available at ABar Rooftop, and can be sipped as guests soak up spectacular views of Bangkok’s iconic cityscape, to evoke a sense of discovery. Prices start from just THB 400++ per glass. Come and join us every day from 17.00 – 01.00 hrs (drinks served until 00.30 hrs).
