Sizzler is going for business expansion in accordance with a healthy lifestyle trend by opening seven new “Sizzler to Go” kiosks.
These will be located in Asok BTS station, Chong Nonsi BTS station, Phra Ram 9 MRT station, The Offices at CentralWorld and in front of the following Sizzler restaurant branches; Central Plaza Westgate, Central Plaza Pinklao and Fashion Island Shopping Mall. Not only that, there will also be new menus, including “CHICKEN WRAP SRIRACHA SAUCE, VEGAN SAUSAGE WRAP, SHRIMP & NAM PLA WAN WRAP, CLAM CHOWDER SOUP, two new formulas of cold pressed juice and more. To support the Sizzler to Go kiosks and delivery services, Sizzler has created a "Sizzler Cloud Kitchen", a new shared kitchen model that will allow the customers to experience hot meals delivered faster, as if the chefs cooked and served at home. In addition, dining in all of “Sizzler” restaurants nationwide will enable the customers to feel more comfortable despite the strict Social distancing policy. This would be a result of the New Normal strategies, such as sanitized flatware, the online Touchless menu, social distancing seating and contactless payment.
Mr. Kreetakorn Siriatha, the general manager of SLRT Limited, (the restaurant service provider for the brand “Sizzler”) mentioned that Sizzler emphasizes the quality development of the menus while maintaining service ethos to provide the customers fresh, tasty, safe and healthy meals. There is also an emphasis on the service development to keep up with changes in consumer behavior influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic. The demand of food delivery had been growing. In terms of dine-in services, restaurants that have adequate hygiene controls play a significant role in gaining customer trust. After the government announced the 3rd phase of lockdown release, restaurants in shopping centers are allowed to reopen. This will allow the customers to experience hot meals delivered fast as if the chefs cooked and served at their homes. The Cloud Kitchens would be located at branches near the customer’s address (within 3 kilometers), also, customers would be able to order up to three brands within a single order. This includes Sizzler, The Pizza Company and Bonchon. This concept will enable customers to have the meals of these brands delivered conveniently without the necessity to visit the shopping centers.
