Sustainable Catch Seafood Savor Ocean-Fresh Flavors from Thailand’s Southern Seas at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant

​Bangkok, Thailand, June 27, 2025 – Pagoda Chinese Restaurant, the award-winning Cantonese dining destination at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, will reaffirm its deep commitment to ocean conservation this July and August, as it presents an enticing new “Sustainable Catch Seafood” menu that showcases the finest and freshest “fruits de mer,” responsibly sourced from Thailand’s southern seas and crafted in a choice of authentic regional styles.
 
High-quality seafood with plentiful stocks, including grey pomfret and tiger prawns, are carefully selected from the seas around Koh Lanta, in Southern Thailand’s Krabi province – an area known for its rich marine ecosystem and sustainable fishing practices. This supports the local Urak Lawoi community and ensures the long-term preservation of marine resources for future generations.
​The talented chefs at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant treat these ingredients with love and care, skillfully crafting them in a choice of classic and contemporary Chinese recipes to highlight the natural flavor and health benefits.
 
Grey pomfret (THB 4,200++ per kg) is a deep-sea fish with tender, white flesh and a delicate flavor. Rich in Vitamin B12 and Omega 3, it contains antioxidants that can aid the immune system. This sublime seafood can now be enjoyed in a choice of six distinct styles: stir-fried with Sichuan chili sauce, braised with plum & salted lemon, steamed with black bean sauce, deep-fried with sweet soy sauce, deep-fried with X.O. sauce, and steamed with Hunan chili sauce.
 
Koh Lanta is famous for its large tiger prawns (THB 2,800++ per 6 pcs), which are fresh, firm, and succulent, as well as being high in protein and low in saturated fat. Our chefs use these sensational shellfish in a selection of six dishes: steamed with garlic & glass noodles, stir-fried with chili & salt, steamed with egg white, stir-fried with black peppercorns, stir-fried with sweet & sour sauce, and deep-fried with turnip cake and X.O. sauce.
 
The new “Sustainable Catch Seafood” menu is available for lunch (12:00 - 14:30 hrs) and dinner (18:00 - 22:00 hrs) from July 1st to August 31st, 2025. So, don’t miss the chance to savor the finest flavors from Thailand’s southern seas at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant.
