The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi upholds its role as eastern Bangkok’s food destination hub by collaborating with Thai Muslim Trade Association (TMTA) and Muslim Thai Post to hold the ultimate Halal festival “The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi Halalicious” featuring a variety of halal food. The festival also aims to elevate Halal products, including agarwood fragrance, internationally. There are artists joining and fun activities at the festival, held from 1-7 August 2024 at M Grand Hall, G floor, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi.
“The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi Halalicious” serves as a platform to elevate Halal food business and products internationally. Currently, Thailand is the 11th exporter of Hahal products. At the festival, customers can enjoy over a hundred delicious Halal dishes and products, including those from local communities. Dr. Pakorn Priyakorn, Director of the Halal Standard Institute of Thailand, Representative of the Sheikhul Islam of Thailand, and H.E. Dato Jojie Samuel, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand presided over the opening ceremony at 15.00 hours, followed by a talk with talented actress Tubtim Anyarin Terathananpat on Thursday 1 August 2024 at M Grand Hall, G floor, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi.

At the festival, customers can savour a variety of delicious food from popular international restaurants:
- Al Merroz Hotel Bangkok, known for their quesadillas and tacos popular in South Asia and Middle East, and premium, five-star puffs and pies.
- Just Salt Steak, an Italian-Thai fusion restaurant, with Napoli pizza, pasta and steak. Steak and beef tongue are featured in an assortment of dishes, with grilled beef tongue and beef tongue fried rice being popular dishes.
- Brother’s Kitchen, a Hong-Kong style Islam-Chinese restaurant and café, packed with quality dishes from duck to black sea wonton. There are unique desserts and beverages as well.
- Nua Tair by former Silly Fools lead singer Toe Weerachon Sattaying with premium, imported 100% black angus beef dishes at affordable prices.
- At Home Delicious Halal Cuisine boasting traditional British homemade Halal cuisine with premium dishes, some of which requiring a day’s booking in advance, including beef wellington, pot pie and timber ring.
- Organicwa Thailand, one of Thailand’s largest fresh and dried fruits farm, with fresh, premium-grade local and imported fruits. Their dried fruits meet Halal and the Food Administration standards.
- Pizza Rof Boy, homemade Halal-style Italian-Mexican restaurant by Chef Yis Syed Zulkifli Zai Hammadi, a Thai-Pakistani chef who has received Robinhood Awards 2024’s inspiration award. Highlighted menu includes homemade wood-fired oven pizza with fragrant, thin crust, lots of cheese, and flavourful sauce to suit the Thai taste palate. Other dishes include burgers, tacos, quesadillas, pasta, baked spinach and cheese, and many beverages.
- Homchui Kaomunkai Singapore Hainanese chicken rice, with thick, tender and juicy slices of chicken that haven’t been smashed, Singaporean-style soy broth to enhance the chicken flavours and tenderness, paired with three types of dipping sauce.
Moreover, enjoy fun activities regarding Thai-Muslim culture such as Nasheed acapella, Saman dance performance, Pencak Silat martial arts show, Arabic calligraphy mini talk, and cooking demonstration by Chef Yis.
