​“The Magic of Mother’s Day” at The Crystal Grill House​

The Crystal Grill House, the elegant glasshouse restaurant on the banks of the Chao Phraya, is giving families the chance to raise a glass to mom this Mother’s Day with a choice of stunning sharing set menus and special drinks overlooking the “River of Kings”. Two indulgent international menus are available – for two or four guests – including enticing appetizers such as lobster bisque, mouth-watering main courses including king crab linguine and center-cut pork chop using premium black pork from Chiang Mai, and delightful desserts such as vanilla bean baked cheesecake with fresh berries. “Cheers to Mom” cocktail or mocktail is made with bright purple butterfly pea juice available only this August. At The Siam Tea Room, the Thai heritage-inspired restaurant and café at Asiatique The Riverfront, the highly skilled chefs have crafted a selection of traditional recipes that reflect the grace and elegance of your cherished mom. Every mother will be presented with a floral garland upon arrival – an exquisite start to a heartfelt evening on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The special à la carte dishes include smoked herb-roasted pork sausage with crab meat, roasted rice salad, orange, pickled garlic, pork skin & local vegetables; mango chili paste with fermented shrimp paste relish, sweet pork and crispy deep-fried fluffy fish; Lanna-style beef curry with mixed vegetables and betel leaves; fried whole sea bass with sweet & sour sauce, fried shallots and chili; and Thai donuts with mulberry jam and mulberry sorbet.

This Mother’s Day, Asiatique Ancient Tea House will transport families on a culinary journey to the Middle Kingdom with its sublime Chinese set menus. Two options are available – for two or four guests – including a choice of light dim sum-style appetizers such as prawn har gao and asparagus and classic pork & shrimp shu mai dumplings, timeless Chinese mains including Yangzhou-style fried rice with barbecued pork & shrimp, and sweet treats such as chilled sweet sago soup with melon and coconut sorbet.
