Working in tandem, Madison’s chef Rick Dingen and chef Don Sujith of Phuket’s leading grill house, Age invite gourmands to expand their palates at a four-hand dinner hosted by Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. Both talented chefs gained prominence from their individual successes after grilling the competition to come up trumps as winning Challenger Chefs on the hit Iron Chef Thailand TV show.

After weeks of research, experimentation and preparation, on 26th March 2021 the duo will finally come together in Madison’s kitchen to celebrate culinary craftsmanship and their shared spirit of adventure. The experimental seven-course menu will open with tantalising bite-sized appetisers such as crab with rosella and pumpkin with goat’s cheese and orange, before moving on to the mains: chicken liver with beetroot, cherry, apple and walnut; Chilean sea bass; cinnamon-smoked duck breast with tamarind; and dry-aged Wagyu striploin. For dessert, the pair chose to keep it light with passionfruit yogurt and piquant lemon sorbet.

Chef Don, Chef De Cuisine of Age restaurant, blends cuisines as diverse as Latin American, French, Asian fusion and nouvelle cuisine in his creations. Chef Don comes to Bangkok fresh from his recent victory against Iron Chef R on Season 10 of the renowned Thailand Iron Chef show. The winner of the Best Chef Awards in the Maldives, chef Don is well-versed in fine dining as well as in complex flavours of his native Sri Lanka.

Hailing from the Netherlands where he worked in some illustrious culinary institutions, followed by a stint at the celebrated Bangkok restaurant Savelberg, which was awarded a Michelin Star under his watch, Iron Chef Challenger Rick brings his penchant for light, fresh flavours to the experience.

The four-hand dinner will be served from 7.00 pm to 10.30 pm at Madison, Anantara Siam Bangkok. Prices start from THB 3,000++ for a 7-course menu, or THB 4,500++ with wine pairing.
