For centuries, long-standing tea cultures and traditions have brought families, friends and communities around the world together. This Lunar New Year, embark on a bold and prosperous adventure with TWG Tea’s Tiger Hill Tea, the robust Darjeeling blend from the iconic Himalayas, and an earthy and mature tea blend of Hidden Pu-Erh Tea.

An iconic symbol of strength, bravery and beauty, the Tiger Hill Tea is a majestic blend of black teas and Darjeeling first flush teas from the celebrated Himalayan mountains. A rich and aromatic infusion with fruity undertones, this mélange boasts hints of cocoa and sweet vanilla bean which develop into lingering notes of jungle berries on the palate. Packaged in a luxurious tea tin and gift box embellished with a majestic tiger, the Tiger Hill Tea is an uplifting cup of tea that will add a spring in your step as you dash into the new year.

The Tiger Hill Tea retails at THB 1,490 and is available at all TWG Tea Salons & Boutiques in Bangkok from February 2022.
Luxuriously wrapped in a velvet pouch, the Hidden Pu-Erh Tea is presented in a festive red and gold-embossed gift box. This earthy, matured black tea has been refashioned with wild forest berries and flowers, yielding a surprisingly indescribable aroma – the perfect accompaniment to the hearty, indulgent dishes of the Lunar New Year’s reunion meals.

Like fine wine, well-processed Pu-Erh matures with time, with some being aged for as many as 15 years. Most commonly grown in China’s Yunnan province, Pu-Erh is known to be effective in lowering cholesterol levels. It is also noted for its stimulating properties that improve digestion and mental alertness, perfect for late-night festivities.

The Hidden Pu-Erh Tea retails THB 2,200 and is available at all TWG Tea Salons & Boutiques in Bangkok.

Exclusively available from 15 January to 15 February 2022, usher in the Lunar New Year with an exquisite tea-infused Chinese New Year Set Menu.

Created specially to celebrate the Year of the Tiger, indulge in a tantalising main of Miraculous Mandarin Duck Confit, served with bok choi, mashed potato, mandarin orange and accompanied by a Miraculous Mandarin Tea-infused five spice sweet and sour sauce. Pair this dish with your choice of hot or iced tea from a selection of eight exclusive tea blends, including Tiger Hill FOP, a fragrant black tea blend with fruity notes, cocoa and vanilla; Lung Ching, a smooth green tea with a fresh aroma that delights the senses; and Milk Oolong, an exceptional blue tea with delicate aroma both milky and toasted.

The Chinese New Year Set Menu is available from THB 690++ at TWG Tea Salon at The Emporium and Siam Paragon in Bangkok.
