VIVIN Grocery has expanded its range of local Thai, artisanal, and natural groceries to include Thai-grown weed, which they’ve branded as ‘v.weed’ (selection) pronounced, “vi.weed”.
The founders who are fond of the plant, have like so many, waiting for the approval of safe Marijuana use to come into legalisation. Once it happened, they took the chance and opportunity to be part of this latest movement happening in Thailand, and now supply a number of premium strains of Marijuana buds at their Grocery and Bistro at Ekamai Complex, but will extend to more varieties at different quality and price points.
The VIVIN Grocery team realised many were excited and curious to buy but not everyone wants to head for the dark-neon-lit clubs or bright cafe lights of a dispensary or have to shop exclusively for weed, and therefore VIVIN Grocery sought to offer a weed dispensary in their own style. Tucked away on the second floor of the VIVIN Grocery bistro in Ekamai, is a stylish and discreet weed display, in a cool and ambient environment. Visitors are welcome to browse or shop for top buds while they do their groceries or whilst having a relaxing meal made up of local artisanal produce or even pair meals with local Thai wine by GranMonte Vineyard and Winery.
Visitors are welcome to smell the aromas and learn more about the different bud strains and their effects. Be it beginners or “budding” veterans, VIVIN Grocery’s dispensary feels warm and welcomes all to explore (except children under 20 years old and pregnant women of course who are prevented from consuming by law).
Weed paraphernalia; tools and equipment like pipes, trays, and rolling papers are also available for those on-the-go, so once you arrive at your destination, you’ll be ready to roll or spark up without taking any other pit stops.
