Khon Kaen, Thailand – GO Hotel, the lifestyle brand under Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN), has officially marked its entry into the Northeast with the grand opening of its sixth property: GO Hotel Khon Kaen Campus. To celebrate, the hotel transformed its space into a living gallery for an Open House Party that was less about a building and more about the pulse of the city itself.

The evening’s centerpiece was the “Kon Kaen Tae Tae” (The Real Khon Kaen People) photo exhibition. Captured through the lens of photographer Chira Wichaisuttikul, the project began as a viral sensation, teasing glimpses of the city’s identity long before the hotel’s doors opened.
The exhibition gathers more than 100 individuals who serve as the essential gears driving Khon Kaen forward. These are the faces of the city’s sustainable evolution—a diverse collective ranging from doctors, designers, and chefs to craft distillers, agricultural developers, politicians, and policy shakers.

Among the featured icons are Phor Sawat Ouphat, a pioneer who elevated local spirits to the renowned Koon Sato brand; Chef Kham Nang (Nattaphon Komjit), who brings Isan culinary wisdom to the global stage through her "Pa Khao" dining experience; and Aom-Panisa Ouphat, the visionary behind the Khon Kaen Green Market. The exhibition also honors local voices like influencer Joey Srimuangkhon, the Michelin-recognized culinary artistry of Chef Paisarn Cheewinsiriwat and Chef Jib-Kanyarat Thanomsang from Kaen, and the advocacy of news anchor Kitti Singhapat, who uses his platform to champion community economies. The cultural heritage of the region is further personified by the legendary Rabieb Watthasin Molam troupe, alongside many other key figures who shape the province's future.
The Open House Party was a sensory immersion into Neo-Isan culture:
  • Art Exhibition & Live Performance: Guests explored the portraits accompanied by the hauntingly beautiful live melodies of Aon Kaen Khiao, one of the region’s most celebrated folk artists. The experience was heightened by stunning visual projections cast across the hotel’s facade.
  • The Sound of Isan: The evening vibrated with the contemporary folk rhythms of The Isan Clan, culminating in an electric set by the globally acclaimed DJ Maft Sai.
  • Isan Finger Food: A curated selection of fusion bites from the city’s culinary elite, including grilled delicacies and Khao Jee from the legendary Sanan Larb Koi.
  • Craft Drinks: An exploration of authentic local tastes, featuring Koon Sato and specially crafted beverages from various partners.

The event was hosted by Ms. Jatuphorn Wislaikaew, Head of GO Hotel, and Mr. Athikiat Chirathivat, Head of Operations, joined by business partners and the very people who define Khon Kaen—creating an atmosphere that was as much a homecoming as it was a grand opening.
