Crafted from a meticulous selection of American oak casks including ex-wine casks, new American oak, and ex-bourbon casks — the Glenfiddich 16-Year-Old delivers a distinctive flavour profile with notes of maple syrup and candied ginger. The palate reveals the smooth freshness of fruit salad and Chantilly cream, finishing with a refined yet powerful balance — reminiscent of the deep connection between a driver and their car.

Glenfiddich’s Speyside Distillery announced its long-term partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team in November 2024, with its debut at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. This collaboration brings together two legendary names that share a passion for mastery and design excellence.

To mark this collaboration, Glenfiddich hosted two exclusive evenings in the heart of Bangkok under the concept “Club 1959.” The number 1959 pays homage to the year Aston Martin first entered the Grand Prix, while also symbolizing Glenfiddich’s rare 65-Year-Old single malt, a nod to heritage, time, and timelessness.
During these two nights, guests were treated to a refined whisky experience through a curated cocktail menu inspired by the Glenfiddich x Aston Martin Formula One™ collaboration designed to express the distinct character and complexity of the Glenfiddich 16-Year-Old.
Signature cocktails included:
- 1959 Spritz, a bright, refreshing celebration of the year Aston Martin entered Formula One, combining pear, lime, and soda to reflect the timeless vitality of both brands.
- Warehouse 8 Whisky Sour, inspired by Glenfiddich’s legendary Warehouse 8, home to some of its rarest experimental casks, featuring a bold yet velvety profile with a hint of smokiness.
- Glenfiddich Old Fashioned, a sophisticated take on a classic, elevated by the complexity of the 16-Year-Old whisky, enhanced with Demerara syrup, peach, and Angostura bitters.
