SGU has conducted regular medical workshops to promote the importance of basic life-saving techniques and knowledge about cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
Reflecting on her experience at the workshop, Laura Chen at British International School Phuket said: “The workshop has given me the confidence and knowledge to pursue medical schools abroad, solidifying my path toward becoming a medical practitioner. Also, learning essential life-saving techniques has provided invaluable tools to support my academic ambitions and future professional career.”
In addition to teaching basic life-saving techniques, this event provided a platform for students and their families to engage in discussions about potential career paths, gain deeper insights into SGU, understand MD program specifics, and explore the admissions process.
